THE LORD'S MESSENGERS
Diane Tench and Mack Anderson met in the early 90's at a church they were attending. Soon afterwards they met Glenn Vining and after
getting together and picking and singing gospel music, the three of them discovered that their harmony was rich and clean and blessed by the Lord. In a very short time they
began going to different churches and singing together as one or other of them would be contacted.
They sang without a name for a couple years. God began to stir in each of their hearts at the same time to carry the singing ministry a
little farther by giving the group a name. They shared the same desire to serve the Lord with their talents and carry the message of the gospel in song and testimony
wherever the door was opened...from that common desire to serve the Lord... "The Lord's Messengers" was officially formed and named in 1994. Since then they have traveled
hundreds of miles, sung in hundreds of churches and other venues and at the present time have released 9 Albums.
Presently the group members are: Glenn Vining - Lead guitar/vocals/night shift bus driver, Diane Tench - Rythmn guitar/vocals, Mack
Anderson - Bass/vocals, Carissa Woods - Banjo /Dulcimer/Dojo, Jamie Thompson - Mandolin/guitar and Ted Tench - Sound/day shift bus driver.
The Lord's Messengers average singing about 100 times per year and will go wherever the Lord opens the door for love offerings. After
years of singing and traveling, the mission of The Lord's Messengers has never changed...their heartbeat is still to lift up the sweet name of Jesus Christ and spread His
gospel in song and testimony. Exodus 15:2 says...the Lord is my strength and my song...!
Diane Tench - Guitar & Vocals
Diane plays guitar and sings lead and harmony vocals. She is one of the founding members of the group. Diane has one of the purest singing voices that you will have
the chance to hear. Truly a rock solid and prayer minded individual. She and her husband Ted live in Mt. Airy, Ga. Ted helps drive the bus and runs the sound
system. |

Glenn Vining - Guitar & Vocals
Better known by friends and family as "Bubba". Also one of the founding members of TLM. A versatile and talented guitar picker and singer, Glenn sings and plays with a
sound that is all his own. Each song he plays or sings sends out the message in the song. Glenn and his wife Barbara live in Tallulah Falls Ga. "Bubba" is also the
night shift bus driver. So, if you see our bus out on the highway late at night - everybody wave at Bubba!!! |

Mack Anderson - Vocals and Bass Guitar
Mack plays bass and sings lead and harmony vocals for the group. Mack is one of the founding members of TLM. He and his wife Sandra live in Alto, Ga. At TLM's
singings, you will find Sandra at the CD table. They both love the Lord and are always ready to share Him when given the opportunity. |

Jamie Thompson - Mandolin
As Glenn puts it, "In the dictionary under "Mandolin Picker" you will see Jamie's picture." TLM is extremely blessed to have this young man picking mandolin with us.
Jamie adds a lot of flavor to our style of gospel music. He has a style all his own and he loves to pick fast and ferocious. He is a successful business man, a family
man and he loves to hunt and fish. Jamie, his wife Kristie, daughter Anna Grace, and baby boy Owen Keith live in Lakemont Georgia. |

Carissa Woods - Banjo & Dulcimer
Carissa, having been with TLM since 2005, is the banjo and dulcimer picker for the group. The group has nicknamed her "Missy" and she loves her "road parents!" Carissa
lives in Baldwin, GA and is excited about serving the Lord with TLM. Missy is also a professional hair stylist. We have been thinking about installing a barber chair
on the bus!! |
